Image sizes

Each pass type shows a different set of images. This page lists the images for every type and the size each one needs. Keep the correct aspect ratio and leave a trim of about 5 percent on each side.

You can upload images larger than the values below, and we recommend you do. Use the same ratio for the best result. Transparent PNG files work well.

Google Wallet. The Google Wallet logo is square. Use a minimum size of 660 by 660 pixels.

Image Where it shows and what size to use
BackgroundFills the whole pass. Passcreator adds a gaussian blur automatically. Use 1080 by 1320 pixels or larger and keep the ratio.
ThumbnailShows on the right of the pass, for example a photo of the holder. The ratio should be about 1 to 2 (width to height).
LogoShows in the upper left. Use up to 960 pixels wide with a flexible height. A wider logo crops or hides the text fields to its right.
IconShows in push notifications and in the notification center. Use a minimum of 720 by 720 pixels with equal width and height.

BackgroundShows in the upper section of the pass. Use 1920 by 504 pixels or larger and keep the ratio.
LogoUpper left, up to 960 pixels wide, height flexible.

Store cards and coupons

BackgroundShows in the upper area of the pass. Use 1860 by 738 pixels or larger. We recommend roughly three times that size in the same proportion.

Generic passes
