To update a certificate, create a new one for your existing Pass Type ID in the Apple Developer Portal and upload it to Passcreator. You need a paid Apple Developer account. If you do not have one, enroll at developer.apple.com/enroll.
Steps
- Open Settings and the certificate section in Passcreator. Copy the Pass Type ID whose certificate you want to update, then click Add or update certificate and Update an existing certificate.
- Click Download certificate signing request to get the CSR file. Keep this Passcreator tab open, you need it again later.
- Log in to the Apple Developer Portal and open Identifiers. Filter for Pass Type IDs and open the one you want to update.
- Click Create Certificate. Upload the CSR file named
upload-to-apple.csr and click Continue.
- Apple creates the certificate. Click Download to get the file named
pass.cer.
- Back in Passcreator, on the update page, select the
pass.cer file and click Save.
Passcreator confirms that you updated the certificate, and push and downloads work again.
