Wallet passes support four barcode formats. You set the format in the Barcode & NFC section of the template editor.
- QR Code
- Aztec
- PDF417
- Code 128
Code 128 works on iOS 7 and later. If a customer runs an older iOS version, the pass falls back to a QR, Aztec or PDF417 code so it still scans.
You can also create a pass without a barcode.
