Create a pass

Once you have a template, you create passes from it. Passcreator gives you a few ways to do that, and they all start from a template. This guide covers the single pass flow and points you to the others.

Ways to create passes

  • Single pass. Create one pass at a time, ideal for a test or for one customer.
  • Forms. Let people create their own pass from a download page. See the articles under Distributing passes.
  • Processes. Upload a CSV to create many passes at once. See Bulk operations.
  • API. Create passes from your own system. See the API documentation.

Create a single pass

Open the template and click Create single pass. Passcreator asks for the values this pass needs, such as the holder name or a code, plus the value of the pass. Fill them in and click Create.

Share the pass

After Passcreator creates the pass, you see its download link and a QR code. Scan the QR code with a phone camera to save the pass straight to the Wallet app. You can also copy the link and send it by email or message, or open it in a new window to check it. On a Mac with iCloud syncing for Wallet, the pass shows up on your iPhone.
